There was a whole segment on the news not that long ago about how millennials are to blame for the decline in soup company sales (Campbell's in particular was mentioned) and how millennials don't eat enough soup, etc etc etc.
Oddly it took them at least 3 times running this segment before they mentioned that maybe the industries should consider making changes to cater to the available market, rather than blaming the market for disliking their products
I'm a gen Z and I LOVE soup! Don't you dare ruin them, millennials! Just kidding, I mostly make it at home anyways. The store bought stuff is usually not as good. Never had Campbell's though because I'm from Europe so maybe it would change my mind.
Haha I have no idea. Pretty much the only soup I'll eat is tomato, but I've pretty much disliked soup since infancy. Someone with more interest in soup might be able to weigh in more. From what I remember most packaged soups tend to have an outrageous salt content anyway, so you may be better off sticking to your homemade stuff.
Millenials may be "killing" certain things, like mayo, by merely avoiding them because they don't like them. It's rather easy to just refrain from eating things you just don't care for. But the student loan industry...well, that would require not borrowing for the education you feel entitled to. Go to a local school or state school when it's not your dream college experience? Major in a field that gets you a job that pays well enough to,repay your loans? Screw that, I wanna study Pacific native art history. You *could* kill the student loan industry, but you'd have to refrain from doing whatever you want (as a generation).
