His defense was that he did sleep with the three accusers but that they were all legal when the act happened - even though communications with them started when they were minors. So he did actually ‘pickle’ somebody, which is why the meme seemed like an ‘appropriate’ play on words given his history. EDIT: I should add that he ‘resigned’ and was replaced with a new voice actor so maybe justice was somehow served.
