Of course the US courts are now making ex-husbands pay for any children their ex-wives have AFTER the divorce. Even if the new biological father is in the picture, the judge will just take whoever earns the higher wage and gives it to the baby cannon.

(Not guest) I'll say off the bat I can't get a source for this, but US varies so much from state to state that it would be pretty difficult to nail down. However, in the more religiously governed states it is quite possible that the original husband would be on the hook for CS for a child that isn't his due to the traditional nature of some laws, especially those regarding family.
There was this one lady in Georgia who wanted to sign up for welfare for her and her kid. But you on the paper work she had to put down who the father was and she didn't know. So she just put some random old friend of hers. And the state started charging him for child support. But he proved with DNA that the kid wasn't his and last I heard to this day he is still fighting to get out of paying child support for a kid that isn't his
