the annoying part was not the ball.. it was the inner part of the mouse. the dirt on this rolls.. to remove it every x days was annoying if you wanted to have a precise mouse movement.the ball even got stuck from time to time while movement.. annoying asf if you play a shooter as an example.

i still use a ball mouse like this occasionally, in addition to a "mechanical" keyboard from the 1980s xD
