I live in a desert where it is shoe melting hot for a solid 4-5 months out of the year. Up to +48c, we can't even let our dog out to potty because the concrete would burn her. You can't go outside without risking heat stroke. And electricity bills are insane because people don't want to live in an oven.

Well, they do call it Sin City, so Hell is rather apt. I seriously do not understand why so many tourists come here in Summer. Any other time is fine. As soon as October hits its back down to the mid 90s (35) and below so its much prettier.
