there are skydiving lessons where you don't need to pull the cord. you dive with a mentor who do it for you.

i know.. but i choosed to ignore the suicidal ideas of the meme.. + some people are that scared while falling, that they have problems pulling the cord.. so i wanted to mention it

Isn't that a fear of death? Even if you choose not to pull the chord.

There is a fairly large difference between a fear of death and a fear of suicide. When I started recovering from suicidal depression I was rather scared that I was gonna end up killing myself not because i was afraid to die but because i was afraid of hurting my friends. I actively wanted death there was no fear of it there at all. I'd assume it would be exactly the same sorta thing here just on a different level

There's a mechanism that can be set to automatically release the shoot at a certain altitude.
