If you are implying it will make waffles that are similar to pancakes that's just incorrect. The process of making a waffle equally puts heat on both sides with more surface area of the waffle being in contact with the heat than with a pancake. This causes it to be more crisp and less fluffy. It might have 2 points of pancake taste but it will fail on texture and smell as well as failing on thickness.
