with the stupidity in America now a days if you tried this they would call it sexist or fat shaming or some other bull shit. and they would load the plain up with so many fat stewardess that all the plains would fly at 10 feet with the tail dragging on the ground with sparks flying off them.

so you think if American Airlines announced tomorrow that they weren't going to hire fat stewardesses that this country wouldn't lose its shit? or do you deny that people would try to force them ( protests and such) to hire fat stewardesses?

It's because of things like this that they manage to keep their flight rates so low. They're one of the cheapest airlines in India. A ticket from Delhi to Mumbai will cost you about 40 usd

Why not just hire the lightest people possible regardless of sex? Just require weight as part of the application process...
