Buuuuuuut if a super awesome game comes out that you KNOW you'll nerd splurge on, you'll have a PC tough enough to run it

I did the same thing last year. I spent $2500 on a PC for gaming, realized I didn't much care for PC games, the console ports are generally poor, and you have to download games, which is a problem with my fairly small monthly bandwidth cap. I've been using the computer to play older games on emulators.

You might like simulators, or at least I do, and there’s a lot on pc
