Nah man Drive-In cinemas didn't start becoming outdated until early 2000's, at least in my area, now we only have like 1 or 2 left in the entire country. I agree with the "not public" part though cause it was not pleasant trying to watch Alvin and The Chipmunks when the car next to you is steaming up.

There’s two drive ins in western NY. One in Lockport and one in Delevan.

I wish they'd come back, I really loved the whole Drive-In experience but I get it's not cost-effective to run now.

nah... you can netflix and chill in private. Drive-ins are basically public indecency.

We get pickup truck loads of us with furniture in the back and bask into spaces and basically have tailgate parties, there’s no “chill”

I have literally never heard someone say Netflix and chill is bad for kids. People say kids have sex too young, to often, and with too many people, but I have never heard Netflix and chill criticized in particular. The closest I've found is people saying that Netflix and chill is annoying because they are really just trying to watch a movie.

I still go to our nearest drive in, Twilight Drive-In in British Columbia. Best place to watch a movie with friends
