centipedes actively hunt, spiders, for the most part, passively hunt. Spiders ftw... but I wouldn't kill the centipede unless by accident or if it tried to bite me; I'd just put it in a box and put it a few hundred yards away from my house on the golf course.
There's a difference between Venomous centipedes and House Centipedes. House Centipedes are a smaller, friendlier type (admittedly they look freaky as hell) but they won't harm you. I agree that I prefer spiders over centipedes any day, I once had a Red Stone centipede actually chase me around the pool before my dad flicked it into the water to make it stop (fyi it didn't stop, it just kept running under the water).
I just googled house centipede... yeah... I call those things "willie nillies" lmao... and of course I wouldn't intentionally harm one... although they tend to pop up in my shower and get washed away accidentally
Indeed - I used to consider house centipedes KoS, but after I learned what they hunt, they are welcome in my house any time. I would rather have them than any of their prey in my house.
