My 70lb pitbull is absolutely terrified of cats because my elderly siamese would attack her every chance he got, to the point we would have to pull out claws that had broken off in her skin. She never so much as growled to defend herself. The most she has ever done was hop up and down trying to escape him and inadvertently landed on his tail. It was actually pretty funny. We have to keep him isolated to a separate part of the apartment because of it. He's an idiot who will attack any animal bigger than him, but run scared of birds and anything smaller than him, like kittens.
