there is a whole museum with just that stuff. you can basicly donate your body to them when you want (after your dead). they too sell objects to scientists, universitys etc.
personal fun fact: Back when my mum was a chemical laboratory assistant, she used to work together with Gunther von Hagens, the founder of Körperwelten.
At our varsity, they have loads of these cuts, and even though we get fresh cadavers to dissect to study, when we’re tested, we get cuts like these.... and they cut horizontally as well, and even some very weird slanted cuts, so it becomes really tough when we have to interpret them.
