I have no idea. I drink a lot of sweet tea like A LOT and my SP was becoming more and more frequent and I didnt know what was causing it. I tried going to bed at different times, having more or less sleep, no electronics before bed, no books, no caffeine, no water, but when I stopped drinking tea before bed for 3 or 4 days I stopped having sleep paralysis.
So now i make sure i dont have any tea within 2 hours of bedtime
That's orange pekoe tea, correct?
If so, I wonder if it's not the caffeine causing the issue. I've heard of people drinking caffeine before sleeping, and rather than it preventing them from falling asleep, they have issues of waking up early and in sleep paralysis
Yeap. The auditory effects was the main thing for me as well. Hard to ignore it, best thing i figured out wals to add some comedic effect and just weather the storm
But I've not actually experienced it before and I want to see. Feel? Know. I wanna know.

I still get sleep paralysis, but it's not back to being rare and not every night
