This generation needs to stop complaining about the cost of university and come up with an alternative.

I graduated in the mid-nineties, attended community college until I landed an entry level job and worked my way up from there. Is that not a feasible path? It’s $4000 a year in my area. That’s not going to put you in debt for decades.

In New Zealand it would cost me about 200000 dollars to attend university. Thats including residency and food and books and stuff.

According to the University of Auckland website tuition is 6-8k NZD a year.

Tuition. ANd that depends on degree. Living in Auckland is second only to Queenstown in terms of price

I used that as an example because it’s first alphabetically. Room and board are sunk costs. You habe to pay them whether you attend university or not. They don’t factor in.
