Meh. Doesn't apply in context. The photographer asked them to wave, and this LGBT individual isn't the only one without his hand up.
Sensationalized news is just as bad as fake news.
Idk what is going on but i would honestly say its not the same since one probably would get tons of love today all over vs the other which would get you and your family killed.
And the kid wasn't the only one not raising his hand. It turned out the photographer instigated it, telling to wave like that but obviously a waving motion isn't going to translate to a still photograph. There was some speculation that the photographer intended for there to be a big blow up for some reason. Yet while many articles mention there were multiple accounts from witnesses that the photographer told them to wave and that was the prompt, they all gloss over it and continued to assert it was a Nazi salute, because retractions don't sell.
Waving goodbye? Who the fuck waves goodbye by extending their arm then bragging about how they got away with something? One kid even talked about how they got the black kid to do it. This was definitely kinda trying to be ironic and getting away with flashing a hate symbol.
If you are waving to a camera, yes, you often extend your arm. And there were multiple witnesses, not including those IN the picture, who contradicted the nazi story and supported the waving story. But that story os sensational enough for the media
