Tbh I've kind of enjoyed the sunrise/set pics. It's been nice to see the community come together with just something simple and wholesome

I think it's funny that this post made the popular page, while many actual pictures of sunsets missed that mark.
Also, thank you to everyone who has come together to make sunset pictures break up the bot posts and negativity that this site has seen lately. It's been truly wonderful.

I live on the coast of Lake Michigan. Some of the most beautiful sunset pics - look up Joshua Nowicki - but to be honest, I'm almost shocked when we have sunny days. This is so on the mark!

Especially in the winter! If you're really unlucky, you can go months at a time without seeing the sun!
