An machination cannot fail to exist unless now one remembers it. February doesn't exist by this logic. Zodiac signs exist specifically because you know of them. If you can say it doesn't exist it exists because you know enough of it to say it doesn't exist.

good point, but machinations only contain as much power as the mind lets it. February, for example, might replace May, but because it is widely accepted as a format for time passing, and because it bears little to no personal significance (birthdays excluded), it is accepted. Horoscopes/signs are a mass produced "divination" targeted towards the individual using vague, non-specific (and often false) language. It carries no significance, isn't practical, and they may exist, but should be ignored.
