There is no yeast in the bread Jesus said was his body.
It was unleavened bread.
Which is made up of:
Flour
Salt
Sugar
Butter
Milk
But no yeast so your "joke" is only funny to those who don't know this fact.
They didn't use yeast back than they just barely found wild yeast which rich people used to make their bread.
Jesus was a poor man so his bread had no yeast.
And his wine for his blood probably tastes like alcoholic white grape cool-aid which was probably the color of Amber.
Because white grapes were more common and they tended to not separate the peeling of the grape causeing the color. Also being poor the wine would of been cheaply made so to cut on the harsh bitterness it would of been heavily sugared.
Lol sorry if offer infoed lol I am a Sunday school teacher and this joke has come up before. And as a Sunday school teacher I like the kids to learn not just what the bi le says but what life would of been like for people in that age.
So I happen to learn quiet a bit about the Bible the people in it and what their life would of been like in the time they lived.
Well damn. That was one hell of a mystery. That no one thought was a mystery and didn't even really need solving.
But be damned if it didn't just get solved so good work.
