Why spend all that money when you could just get black tungsten or something with a black glass with a diamond cut? Still gorgeous tho.

Perhaps because "black diamond" sounds cooler-- though why you'd want to walk around wearing a ski slope on your finger escapes me.

Black diamonds are ok, but because you can't see through them they look dull. Alexandrite is much prettier.
