I used to paint my nails on occasion. Got to the point where I pretty much only liked red for a nailpolish color (except for one really beautiful blue Polish I had).
'
Now I pretty much only do it for special occasions. I don't even like French nails.
'
I think those are fake nails as well, though, which I've never been a fan of. Girls I used to work with had fake nails of varying lengths and it was always interesting watching them try to pick coins up off the counter.
The fact that nail glue is used in the process of attaching fake nails scares me a bit(I‘ve seen a case where a girl fell and broke her nail and it ripped off part of her real nail).
It would be amusing watching them pick a piece of paper off the floor
Yeah, from what I'd heard the glue pretty much completely destroys your nails. And I absolutely believe it could tear your nail off, depending on the type of glue and how the nail caught. One of the girls broke one of her fake nails off somehow (no idea how), and she spent the rest of the night trying to pry the others off, but they were snapping and she was saying "ow" pretty much after each one.
'
I've never really had bad nails, but I did start taking some biotin (I think) gummies a few years ago. They Don't taste super great, and I wasn't sure they were working, but then I stopped taking them for several months and noticed my nails were definitely more brittle when I wasn't taking them.
Fake nails sound like torture. There are actually girls that get ‘addicted‘ to them. Another thing that scares me a bit is fixing fake lashes.
The gummies may have been helping
Tbh im not a fan of fake eyelashes eyether haha. I find most of them are extremely noticeably fake and I find mascara can be irritating, so idk how people can stand glue and fake hair there haha
'
But yeah, I think it's a disillusionment. You see them and start getting convinced about how much better you look with them, and then when you take them off your nails are in bad shape anyway, and even if they weren't you'd be convinced they don't look as good. So you apply them again and again and get more extreme. It's the same thing where people get addicted to plastic surgery I guess
'
Lmao aw I offended someone by having an opinion once again. I sincerely hope it wasn't one of the people who claim they don't care about what other people think and then came scrawling through the comments to see what other people think and tell them how wrong they are for thinking that..
I see what you did there. Some fake lashes do look cool though. An old friend fixed hers long enough that wearing her glasses sucked. I find surgery terrifying. People who actually get addicted to it fear nothing lol.
And problem solved. Some people really don‘t care about your opinion till it‘s against theirs
*Eye see, you mean.
'
Some of them can look good. I'm not trampling on people who like wearing them. I just don't personally find most of them (especially the very long ones) look particularly good. Still, I've seen them used for cosplays and such, and sometimes the shorter ones can be pulled off quite well. :)
'
Yeah idk. I think Courtney Cox said at one point that she hadn't realized how out of control it was getting for her because she said it was just a matter of "oh, a touch-up here, and just a little bit there" and then over time you become more disillusioned and unaware of just how much you've done to yourself. I don't really like the idea of surgery myself haha
'
So it would seem :p I usually prefer using the downvote sparingly but some people get supremely offended by the tiniest thing. It doesn't really bother me, but I like poking fun at them any way
You‘re right! lol
.
You have a point. Some lashes look like weapons. Various lengths fit different girls.
.
Noticing ‘imperfections‘ way too much can make a person want to try their best to ‘fix‘ it. Especially when they‘ve got the resources.

I've never really had a problem with fake lashes, mainly because I never see people wear them where I come from.
I'm more into round, decent length nails
Short nails on myself bug the heck outta me. Too long nails make it difficult to do things.
Also it's winter! We wear brick red or burned orange, another theme is pine green or spraking gold. Bright pink is a no.
Each to their own. I don't even like cutting my nails, much less something requiring upkeep. I'm not so much into natural as I am into low maintenance lol
100% of ppl did nOT ASK. OMG. You get butthurt about someone doing something you don’t like - far away from you - and feel like the hero of your video game got attacked.
Damn, son, keep your face hold closed if you can’t develop chill. No one gets up in the morning and hopES WITH ALL THEIR HEART that random weirdos really appreciate the effort they put into being the best scenery they could be. Punkass baby.

Grim‘s agreeable and subdued, but his job as the Reaper is...different
