I’m the first born

My siblings might claim I'm "mean" but I live by the rule: "it's not mean if it's hilarious." I will definitely admit that I'm hilarious.

My older brother has never done anything to help bring up me or my younger brother. In fact, I quite often have to look after both of them.

My family is a bit odd when it come to the kids.
See my 2 older brothers are 10 and 9 yrs older than me. My 3 younger brothers are 2 yrs younger, 6 yrs younger, and 8 yrs younger than me.
So we tend to pair up 3 sets of 2.
I also I got suck in the middle even though I share the middle with my brother 2 yrs younger than me. (I think I stood out more as the middle kid because I am the only girl.)
I also got paired with the kid group when I was a kid but when I hit teen I was paired with my older kids. (Because girls muture fast I guess.)
But I was the oldest living at home since I was 9 so I felt like the oldest.
Now I live far away from my family and all of us are grown 4 with families of our own and 2 still live at home so I feel like the middle kid again.

It's so complicated when you have alot of siblings.

This is true in my family. I had to help out a lot with taking care of my siblings and I couldn’t do many afterschool extracurriculars because of it. Plus parents are a lot stricter with their first kid than with other. So you might have to deal with overprotective parents on top of taking care of your siblings.
