I think I can spot the difference. The Apple one shows it is Apple certified- that means it is compatible with listed device and OS specs, and will not harm the device or cause issues with warranty. The Android device lacks any official certification and has no affiliation or oversight with the manufacturer beyond whatever involvement the peripheral manufacturer chose to engage in. So when you buy the one with the Apple certification you know exactly what you are getting, if it should work, and can be sure it is to factory specs and contains no malware or design decisions that can damage your device. When you buy the other one you know the manufacturer super swears totally works with whatever device you have... probably. But that’s on you. And it’s on you if it damages your device. Makes sense. Kinda like how you can find awesome surgeons over the border who do work for 1/10th the US price, or you could also end up gutted and slapped together- or you can pay more and not take the risk.

Tbh tho apple likes to do a bunch of sketchy shit anyway. So while it says it's because it's ceritified, they also brick your shit for using third parties. So you can take the risk but it's more likely the issues will come from apple themselves punishing you.

Everyone does sketchy shit. It’s 2019. Who’s going to stop them? That’s why they don’t do Saturday morning cartoons anymore. The villains won and now instead of choosing good vs evil you just get to choose if you want to be f’d by the guy telling you they’re going to f you up front, or be surprised when you find out your being f’d. PLOT TWIST! They’re both f’ing you in a totally unseen third way too!
