Just give her a box. Cats will never appreciate the effort which is put in building something like this.

I think the speed is too fast, you have to entice them slowly, and when they are interested the movement can speed up. But then in a smaller to-and-fro, and drag the tail of the toy as if you are simulating a mouse running in zigzags.

I had a cat for 19 years and out of all the money I spent on him, his favorite thing was that little piece of plastic that you have to pull off of the milk cap before it comes off.

Mine likes best his rustling toy ball. It looks like a mini pompom made of plastic lines.
