Not to be an annoying nerd but Japanese writing doesn't autommatically have the "sharp stabby" letters (used to transcript sounds from other languages, like if someone tries to say "Here's Eric", it'll be "Kono hito wa Eric desu", and Eric will be in stabby, but not the other words);
however, unless you're reading what a kid wrote, chinese letters (albeit evolved) are thrown in the mix.
