Iirc the pentagram was originally Christian, representing the 5 wounds of Jesus, as well as used in China to symbolize the 5 elements of life (Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, Wood), as well as some other religious groups to represent various things such as magic or Gods. As far as I know it's not satanic in origin (much like the inverted cross), so if that's what they were going for, chances are they were fucking up either way

Quite right. The pentagram is Christian. The satanic symbol everyone gets it confused with (pentacle) is inverted, with the top tip pointing down, and frequently has the two legs pointing up closer together. This symbol represents a goats head (the Sigil of Baphomet).

a pentagram doesn't have a circle around it. Also as I said below pentacle is a category of symbol not a symbol itself. A pentagram incased in a circle is used in more cultures than I can count on my hands, many of which are far older than chirstianity.

If we want to be specific what that is is a hot mess.

The pentagram actually started off as a symbol of protection in the pagan religions. The five points representing the five elements.

what she has is almost a seal of solomon, a symbol under the umbrella term of "pentacle" which is just a symbol used for magical evocation. Put a dot between each point and boom she's got a witches symbol just like she wanted in the first place.

She didn't need to clarify that it was a home job. My god, what an absolute shit.

Satan would be pissed at that wobbly ass line work and dodgy circle... there’s gonna be a special place in hell for that
