The running joke is that the Air Force is the Chair Force. An incorrect assumption. It’s as hard as the other branches but in a different way. They’re not always in the mud and blood, but their sacrifices can be just as great.

It’s like a sibling rivalry. The 5 branches will ridicule each other relentlessly, but God have mercy on the kid from the next neighborhood that pokes one of them too hard.

Yup. I'm prior USAF, and i have a friend who's prior USMC. I joke all the time about him eating crayons, and he jokes about me getting steak and hbo on deployments, but if a non-military guy tries to make a joke...

My father is Air Force and his best friend is Army. When the drink flows the rivalry shows.
