You’re awesome @memedreams. Thank you. I’ve really been enjoying these beautiful Pokémon art pieces. If you’re the artist- amazing. If you are not- still amazing and thanks to you for bringing them to us.
Pokémon is one of those amazing human creations that seems almost as if it had to have evolved naturally unless you consciously think about the fact that human beings made such a wonderful and creative thing.
anthropomorphized, I don’t see the sexualization. In the style it is drawn, narrow shoulders, large round eyes, and a round face are evocative of a child. The only exposed skin is that of the face- not even the neck, and the perspective of the picture and overall body shape are not those which would be found sexual in conventional art outside perhaps fetishist who like non exaggerated pear shaped bodies. Asides the stylized shawl and hair ornaments- the outfit is in fitting with traditional functional garments, and no other provocative elements are present. I believe they were going for “cute” without tones of sexuality beyond those one might feel upon seeing a cute child of one is so inclined to such feelings.
