I hate to say this, but learning new skills gets more difficult with age.

It tends to, and you’re just being honest. But.... sometimes not. Sometimes things you either didn’t have the time for, patience for, or the right attitude for will be easier to learn when you are older. Some times as you change as a person things you wouldn’t have patience to learn correctly or might even be dangerous for you as an individual become much easier. Likewise you may also find yourself no loneger held back by fears or inhibitions you’ve grown past with age and experience. What’s more- aging effects cognition, reflexes, and the ability to form neurological pathways, but a person who continues to learn and engage those processes will be less effected by age than if they hadn’t. So while there are challenges older learners face, there are also potentially benefits. It’s truky never is too late.
