A good deal of the time a person labeled as “lazy” is just a person who isn’t engaged. If you give them something they are passionate about, or that they truly care about, they will surprise you. It doesn’t actually matter though. Some of the most productive people I know are lazy people and some of the least productive aren’t lazy at all. A lazy person doesn’t want to work if they don’t have to. However a lazy person with discipline and or dedication will do what they need to do anyway. A person who isn’t lazy but lacks focus will likely spin their wheels with busy work which may or may not even be constructive. To each their own. If you’re getting the things done that need doing- you’re doing fine. If you want to be lazy when you have that luxury then go for it.
