Honestly even if the school had kept that lesson the parents would still make their kids reject what they learn if they hate the gays.
I think lessons of morals and tolerance are more the parent's responsibility anyway and, like it or not, parents are people and most people are terrible. You're never gonna be rid of homophobes.
Ya'll remember how the religious conservatives in the US used to be in the same position? Well, this is just a continuation of the trend. Although I was hoping that some people were gonna follow through on their terrifying threat of leaving the country over this. Would've laughed my ass off.
How about none... Frankly I guess I don't choose to believe any one thing, life is a journey that no one can predict, and afterlife or whatever is another that no one knows for sure (and don't quote any books to me, they were written by humans and translated so many times alphabet soup has more meaning and less double talk) and on another point ANY religion that can condone or protect killing, raping or any other such behaviors has or should have zero relevance in modern times. Besides, the threat of going to 'a bad place' if you don't do everything some windy talk-a-lot says you need to do or say, sounds more like a recipe for a bad case of anxiety over nothing to me cause sooner or later, every human screws up, I have seen a Muslim eat a pork sausage sandwich just after he completed his prayers in a gas station parking lot!
Are you in any way related to the New Zealand shooter or the senator of Queensland? Your original comment sounds extremely similar to their comments after the attack
