Maybe it is because he doesn't live at home and through the year is always "borrowing" money? Same thing happened to my brothers when they moved out and kept "borrowing" money all year long.
While the ones that lived at home got regular gifts my brothers got bath stuff and house stuff like dishes lol

I know, we are very deprived. I've always wanted to do the cracker thing, but the closest we have is the Turkey wishbone at Thanksgiving, and it's really not the same

I've never experienced cracking a turkey wishbone, or a full turkey actually cause we don't celebrate Thanksgiving so that's something you do have.
