Are you seriously starting this again? Yes, we know there isn't equality. As a woman, I sure fucking know that. A lot of things aren't fair for men, and even more things aren't fair for women. Can we please not argue about this on this site?

I dont necessarily disagree with you, but I think that boat has sailed. I've seen a lot of political content becoming more constantly posted on here...

I'll spare you the rant on this one, and just say that as is obvious from this, the presumption of innocence is goddamn important. Have a good night.

There's also the little detail of him admitting to the abuse, then recanting

I don't understand why people are saying that "his career is ruined" wasn't he just in that Harry Potter movie?

See, I don’t think this is a gender equality issue. It’s a guilty until proven innocent issue in the justice system. For example, I am female and my “friend” is also female. She went to the police and said “raven has been harassing me”. That’s it, no evidence given. Suddenly the police are all over me saying I need to prove I didn’t harass her. I never did but I needed to get a lawyer, text messages, phone records, the whole works to prove my innocence. When it came out that I didn’t do anything, NOTHING happened to her for filing a false claim. My question is, why didn’t she need to prove that I HAD been harassing her? Why was it on me to prove that I HADN’T? This is the whole problem with domestic violence/abuse/harassment cases. It’s always guilty until proven innocent when the criminal justice system assures us that we are innocent until proven guilty. Yeah right, that wasn’t the experience I had.
