That's what I was thinking. And if she's determined to go through his call history, most phone carriers give you access to it through their websites and apps

I feel like there could have been an easier way...like not cheating in the first place

It necessarily doesn‘t mean he was cheating. He could‘ve called some people his wife didn‘t want him to be in contact with. Or he just didn‘t want to answer her marathon of “who is this?“ questions. There are so many reasons why a person won‘t want someone else to see their call history.

How about you man up and tell her no. I would never let anyone get though my phone. It's like a diary only even more intimate

It's your wife. You don't get more intimate

I'm a wife. I would never ask my husband to give me his phone to go through it, it's his and it's personal. Same goes for my phone. He's never asked me and I would never demand it of him. We are partners and there has to be trust in a relationship. If he was going to cheat on me, going through is phone wouldn't change that.

I don't go through his phone but if his is closer to search for something online I'll use it. It's because we trust each other that we have each others codes. There's nothing personal, it's a phone. A means of communication, why should we be banned from the others? It's not the fear of chatting be the craving for complete transparency

If you have talked about it and there is nothing personal on them then it is a completely different story. But most people have very personal stuff on their phones. If my husband wants to share something he will but I have no right to demand it. Married or not, he's still his own person as am I.
