It depends on what you want to get out of a relationship for starters- but moreso how hard it is can come down to the people involved. All relationships tend to require some degree of work at some point- like any work how hard it is depends on a person. Buying a random book because it sounds boring to you and having it be what someone wants is a lucky shot. Luck is seldom hard, but it is also not repeatable on command. So the question in this case becomes: will one of them eventually get over a partner who doesn’t actually get who they are and want more, and if so how long will it take them to realize it? But don’t be deterred. Anyone who wants a relationship can have one. Maybe not what they picture in their head as a “perfect” relationship- but a real one with another human being who isn’t always our exact idea of perfection.
