Ha this is true. I called my poor grandfather Sweetie his whole life because that's what he always called me and I just said it back.

I just called mine "grandad". I literally don't remember the other. Only had those 2 to know, the other 3 died before I was born (Step dad's and step moms and a step-grandad)

My eldest cousin called our grandmother “Nandi” instead of “Granny” and now literally all of us cousins call her that
