It actually doesn't happen more frequently when you're in a bad mood. When you're in a bad little inconveniences become amplified because it fuels the mood you're in.

The door is looking out for you. In those nano seconds that you stop to get away from the door there's an infinite number of possibilities that you might have gotten hurt, the door just wanted to hold onto you never knowing if you've be back.
