Turns out, it seems the event wasn't over. Even if it was, it's still discrimination and illegal. They're lucky they didn't lose their license.
The managers responsible were still fired.
I mean, Colarado Springs? Are you fucking insane? Home of the Air Force Academy. With all the brass and political attention that place has, it's a damned miracle this didn't blow up much bigger.
Considering I've seen this posted in different formats by different people just about every damn day for the last months, I really don't want to know how it could have gotten bigger. Especially since the location changes from Colorado to Texas for some random reason in some of the posts. All the posts make it seem like it was a company wide policy not a fuck up at a single location by two managers trying to be lazy and greedy (they were apparently over charging customers for booze). Most likely they were skimming from the bar among other things. But while the original post, which has been taken down because the situation was quickly resolved, was valid and warranted, now it is nothing more than "share" bait and a anger mongering tool.
I've got a lot of friends and family who were in the military (not to mention most are in Texas where some posts falsely claimed this happened) and since this was posted to a ton of military related Facebook groups/pages they've been sharing the hell out of it without bothering to look into it.
