Someone hates you today it seems o.O the downvoted you in literally less than a minute o.o
'
And It's not the fire. It's literally 3 months of smoke. It fills the air and I literally can't open my windows or go outside for any length of time without dying. Add no aid-conditioning to that and the heat and it's just 3 months of misery every summer haha

Fuck em.
.
Ohhh right I forgot you can’t breathe... yeah I feel that. I mean, I don’t, but I do. Yes, air condition is a major necessity in Alberta. Warm place. Well, I’ll try not to smoke in the forests this summer
I think they were following you actually. It happened on your other comments too. Which is just kind of bizarre.
'
I'm not as bad off as some people, by a long shot, but it's definitely not fun.
'
Complaining in 3, 2, 1 - Tbh I could make do without air conditioning when I could open my window (although for some unholy reason some shmucks in my area like to have campfires when it's +30 at night so not all the time), but when I can never open it it just becomes a nightmare. Tbh most people I know don't have air conditioning here haha. As ridiculous as it is at this point I kind of feel like "okay, BC, you've set yourself on fire the last 4 years in a row. SOMEONE'S gotta be able to get this under control." I know a lot of residents of BC probably have a way worse time of it. But I get selfish when I'm coughing half to death and back <.<

Eh, some of it's in the same vein as the asthma stuff. Some of it's just me being a bit neurotic or particular about things haha. M trying to think of examples by my brain's just working well today at all (this implies that it works well on normal days, which I'm not sure is true).
'
I often will have several bottles of shampoo/conditioner on the go at the same time.
'
I have a decently stupid sense of taste so only a very very few select foods ever seem edible to me. Most things outside of that will cause me to lose my appetite when I attempt eating them. To make things even more fun: the foods that I like is never a fixed medium, and will often have one item on it randomly become intolerable at any given time. (For example: I went on a brief stint that lasted probably over a year where even the smell of peanut butter made me sick. I'd eaten it plenty in the past, and I eat it a couple times a week now, but for no reason at all I went off it randomly for awhile.
^ this has also happened with things as benign as bananas. As a result it's fairly difficult for anyone attempting to offer me food to actually find something I can enjoy eating
'
I have allergies and am decently sensitive to smells so things like ciagrette/marijuana smoke, perfume etc often give me headaches etc. Every once in a rare while I can wear a perfume (though I don't much care for them anyway) but usually no. And this includes on other people
'
Lots of things like that I'm afraid
@catfluff textures can really suck. Any particular ones that get you?

Lol, you need to stop talking about your brain not working. It works reasonably well. It could do with some more, NON-surface-level knowledge, but hey, nobody's perfect ;)
.
The asthma thing makes sense. The shampoo thing doesnt, but you're a girl and that's what girls do, so no harm done.
.
The food thing is legit too. Happens to me as well, AND the texture thing. The texture thing is more permanent for me though. When I really get fed up of a texture, it's not coming back. I used to eat eggs like a maniac.. then I had this hard 3 year hiatus on eggs because I had eaten so many and I was sick of them... now eggs are back in style because they just work for me. They're the right breakfast for my body, nutritionally and digestively. The banana thing ALSO happened to me, but much much shorter than eggs.. I love bananas. No, that's not innuendo >.>

As for the cigs/marijuana/perfume that's totally fair. None of them bother me especially, but if they do bother you, you shouldn't be apologizing for it. I also have no allergies.
.
So all in all, you're definitely a quirky little creature, but I dont think any of this qualifies as high maintenance. HM is typically a frame of mind anyway, and you're fairly down to earth so that's cool
Lmao wow we really set off the down-vote Nazis today x) poor muffins
'
"Reasonably well" <.<
'
Ehhh I have long hair and hormones+sensitive skin usually causes switching things up with shampoos and conditioners. Plus I like having different smells. Since my hair is long it tends to hold the smell of conditioner for a decent length of time and it's nice to have variety
'
Haha I didn't say they weren't necessarily legit, just that they do make me high maintenance. There's other things related to other issues that I just don't want to get into, that kind of pile on. Plus, again, I'm sure there's lots of things I'm not thinking of.
'
I'm currently having issues with eggs as well. I've never been a BIG egg fan, but there was a time when I could and did enjoy scrambled eggs a decent amount. Now I can barely swallow them
A lot of meats as well, haha. I tend to eat a decent amount of fruits and such as a result, and cereals, since I never know when a food is going to suddenly make me lose my appetite or want to throw up haha.
'
Lol don't worry, I wasn't going to comment on your banana love - yet. Tbh I don't really eat them whole anymore these days, just use them in smoothies
'
I'm not sure if I was apologizing. I know it can be inconvenient for people if they want to wear a perfume or hairspray or if someone sprays febreeze and suddenly I have to walk away from them. It doesn't happen everytime so there's no way to plan for it either.
'
Haha well I'll take your word for it then. I think I'm probably a lot less down-to-earth in real life, but I'll take it

Most of the time. I mean, sometimes you’re a little dense, but it’s cute ;)
.
LOL “long hair and hormones”. I guess that’s justification enough. Well, that helps to fill out the image a little, long hair.
.
I just think we look at it differently. Everyone has legitimate concerns or quirks they need to work around for self-care. One of the things with me is that I have metabolism of three adolescent lions. I am ALWAYS hungry, and I can eat a small farm. And my appetite has reduced.. as a result I always need to carry or be within access of food. I don’t apologize for it when I’m with others- I’m hungry, they can deal with it. So I don’t think that your ‘legit concerns’ make you HM. But idk, I haven’t seen you in action- maybe you’re a nightmare ;)

You definitely sound difficult to please when it comes to food. I can only imagine how the “where do you want to eat” conversation goes with you.
.
But yeah, I can imagine the perfume thing does become difficult from time to time. But again, if that’s a thing with/for you, don’t apologize for it. People will adapt it they want to spend time with/around you. If they don’t, they can **** off and good riddance.
Well I figure if my denser moments can make someone else chuckle then they're not so bad after all. Usually, anyway. Plus the cuteness helps convince people I'm not secretly thinking of new and interesting ways to kill them
'
Haha well idk how else to explain it. Plus, just to make things more fun, I also have sensitive skin. <- this makes shaving a LOT of fun. Haha so now some days you are apparently picturing a long haired "mistress," and other days something closer to the girl from the ring
'
It's possible. Like I said I KNOW I have personality issues that cause unnecessary issues, I just am not self-aware enough to be able to pinpoint or explain them currently. But if 'legitimated' concerns don't qualify as high maintenance then I probably became at least slightly less HM. I'm certain I've been some peoples' nightmares haha
haha well I don't have a problem with like grabbing a fast food thing usually so in that regard I don't seem to have much issue. But yeah, If someone's actually trying to provide food and have me eat it and genuinely say I enjoy it, I'm either a royal pain, or extremely easy.
'
Really? So you just carry a snack around everywhere like a granola bar? Or you need to have like 6 hot dogs stuffed in your pockets? (Yes I see how this sounds, no it was not intentional <.<)
'
I've stopped apologizing to people about cigarette smoke. Like I'm sorry you came in reeking of smoke, but I don't see why that means *I* should have to move. You stay over there until you air out <_<
'
Oh, and my username comes from a painting I saw once haha
Textures in particular: anything that went a tad soggy, like wraps or sandwiches that contain tomato, also some kinds of bread (particularly pre-sliced shop bread in bags) sometimes because they become funny textured when I eat them. I don't like mixing my foood ingredients much, like when I am making a salad I will deconstruct it - cucumbers, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, etc. all separate on my plate.
1

HAHAHA, that’s was a great image. I can just imagine you sitting there with perfectly separated salad ingredients on your plate. That’s hilarious, I didn’t know anyone was that intense about mixing texture. Tbh that’s the only enjoyable part about a salad for me- the multiple components accenting each other. To each their own I guess
@catfluff I used to have a huge problem with soup and stuff that had food in it. It would be wet and soggy and just awful. Not that I like soup much to begin with. Also, for some reason I have a huge issue with cubed meat. Like when they take chicken and cut it into little rectangles etc to put in taquitos or pies or such. I literally have to pick them out or I can't eat it. The bubbles in bubble tea is another one that I find completely revolting.
'
Also I totally get the foods mixing thing. Not quite as extreme as you, but I am not a fan of mixing rice and such. I, again, used to be a lot worse, but still. As a semi related note I really hate eating salad anyway. Like I'd rather sit there and eat whole lettuce leaves with my hands like a rabbit than deal with a salad

@Xvarnah there was that meme that rolled through here a few weeks ago, about how cats are God’s perfect killing machines, but they’re only 8lbs and we pick them up and give them kisses. That’s how I imagine you, deviously planning on killing someone. It’s just adorable ;)
.
Hehe Mistress Xvarnah is more a frame of mind and an attitude, I still can’t form a complete image without the age. Are you black-haired? Otherwise the Ring girl doesn’t work.
.
And actually, now based on what you responded to catfluff, you do sound like a royal pain in the ass haha. Tbh it sounds harder to be you than to cook for you. I guess anyone who knows your preferences in advance can work around them easily enough

No hot dogs in my pocket, I’m just happy to see you >.>
But yeah pretty much. I’ll always have snack at my desk, in the car, in my briefcase, at home. If I know where I’m going for the day or for an evening, I’ll look around for food options. I’ll always find a way to feature in time for lunch or dinner depending on the day/event.
.
Hehehe the cigarette thing is too cute. I’m not sure that’s entirely fair. Not everyone, esp strangers would know how sensitive you are to it. They’re just doing their thing, but if they come in from a smoke and they’re suddenly not allowed in proximity any more, I can imagine that being an issue for all parties involved. Either way, I guess you still shouldn’t apologize for it, if that’s just how you feel.
.
And very interesting. I love saying your username. I love says Beth’s too. They just roll of the tongue and sound cool. I also enjoy Catfluff but not because it sound specifically cool.
@catfluff that sounds horrible. :/ for me it mostly starts with headaches (marijuana I can get a headache just from someone walking by with the stench on their clothes). Then my breathing just gets more laboured and i'll start coughing like once every 30 seconds or so. Gets worse gradually if I don't use medicine, and even then usually have to wait half an hour before it will calm down.
'
'
'
@shikharizard admit it: you're ALWAYS happy to see me
'
Makes sense. I sometimes will put a granola bar or something in my purse, but that's more of a "just in case." Do you get low blood sugar or such if you don't eat?
'
Well if it's not a place I need to be then I usually don't mind moving. But like a lot of people in my family or even people I've worked with smoke. So it's like I'm sitting somewhere with people, you go out and smoke, then you come back and expect to sit in the same spot when you now smell like you've lived your entire life in the bottom of an ashtray, knowing I'll have to move?
It largely depends what mood I'm in whether I'll just leave or whether I'll stand my ground.
'
Haha I've never though "Xvarnah" seemed like it was particular easy to roll of the tongue/pronounce. Especially since I googled it once and iirc it's *technically* pronounced nothing like how it's spelled. But that's if you're being technical. Either way I'm glad you like it haha. Beth's does sound pretty cool as well. I like the story behind yours, though I always have a soft spot for all things charmander related

@Xvarnah I think having an erection all the time might be detrimental to my health, but maybe that's not what you meant >.> And no, I won't admit it. Sometimes you come in swinging with some boring, motherly advice. But yeah, most of the time you're a pleasant prescence in my digital life.
.
And yes, quite frequently. I would say, just due to circumstances, deadlines, whatever- at least once a month I have to go 4-6 hours without eating. At that point my hands will begin to shake VIOLENTLY, and my vision starts getting blurry. This used to happen much more frequently before I turned about 23... that was when my metabolism 'slowed down' - but it's still super fast. Now, just due to better planning, maturity and prioritizing my health, it happens less, but it happens.

Hehe, it still goes back to what I was saying. I get it, and I respect your right to be selfish about it. But how can anyone be expected to know, and even if they're family/coworkers, to keep track of it. They just go out for a smoke.. and then BOOM, you're mad. I get it, but I get them too.
.
I dont smoke cigarettes and I only vape my weed and I've even quit that, so it's not really a personal issue. But I LOVE smoking. I would smoke like a chimney if there were not health effects. I find the behavior extremely pleasurable. Personally, I would be extremely annoyed if I stepped out for 2 mins, came back, and that one crazy chick wouldn't let me sit back down. Who's to say she has the right to stop me, when I can just as easily overrule her and sit back down?
.
It's an endless loop- nobody's really right or wrong. Like i said, if people you know/like feel mutually and respect your wishes, they'll have to work around it.

P.S. I didn't see your 2nd comment until I'd already posted mine
And that's exactly what I mean. I'm an imposing person. Other people can be flexible to me, not the other way around. I will only show deference to friends and family, BECAUSE I want to, not because I'm told to. If someone commanded me, they're in for a rude, ruuuuuude awakening. So, if some crazy chick I met for the first time suddenly told me I wasn't ALLOWED to sit back down. Oh baby. I'm cuddling right up to her and giving her a hug. Nobody tells me what to do.
.
I would probably only bend to maintain relationships with everyone else present. All said however, I'm glad to hear you would stand your ground at least SOME of the time. Good for you mama-bear ;)
@shikharizard I mean, I've been known to have that effect, too. Thank God. If you had, I'd have known you were lying. Also how does one 'come in swinging' in a 'boring motherly fashion?'
'
Have you ever talked to a doctor about it? I mean, it doesn't SOUND like a major problem, but I could also see it being a bit detrimental to your hermit-in-the-woods or world-domination plans. Then again I just tend to be curious about health things from time to time
'
I'm not the crazy chick that expects people to just know haha. But if you do know, then why the fuck does your habit take precedence over my health? it's possible for people to not smoke when I'm around or wait until they've aired out a bit. It's not possible for me to not breathe <.< also as a side note - 2 minutes is more than enough to make people smell like an absolute ashtray, which may not bother you at all, but I find a lot of smokers have absolutely no awareness of how bad their clothes/hair and such smell and dislike it
Haha I don't actually enjoy confrontation much. So even when people do it I'm usually not rude about it-- and generally people are pretty courteous about it.
@shikharizard I'll distract her as long as I can. Just back away slowly and don't make eye contact
