Nah. Assange released the DNC emails and refused to release the RNC emails because he said there was nothing important in them. He also has a love affair with the Russians and raped a lady. He purposefully picks and chooses which documents to release and how to market them. He's not a hero, he's just a fancy shit poster.

That has still done more good informing the public about the dirty shit that governments (US in particular) pull. He still releases important information. We don't have anyone better, what's your point?

Wish he was more discriminate with what he releases. Picking out the bad is well and good, but not at the cost of compromising our field agents and HUMINT resources.

Everyone's happy when the stuff being leaked supports their own position. He set himself as the gateway to truth, it was inevitable that he'd do as much harm as good, I reckon
