This kind of reminded me of a thing from yesterday. I work in a relatively tall building. It has ten stories. I like to walk up the stairs all the way to the top and just hangout and get away from people for a bit. Two days ago I made it close to the top and there was this wasp. It was minding its own business so I just went past it and hung out above it and it was no big deal. I started to think it was stuck and had been let in from the roof area where the chillers are at. I thought maybe I should help it. I'm not particularly fond of wasps, mainly because of an incident I had when I was younger (one that funnily enough involves my penis - no I didn't get stung on my penis), but I started to think I should help it. I didn't. So yesterday I climbed the stairs and I see the wasp dead on the ground. Like maybe someone just smacked it on the wall. I felt an unprecedented sadness for an insect. Maybe I should have helped it before. That's weirdly sensitive, isn't it?
