Yes because the FBI is going to waste time and resources getting a warrant based on 2 picture with 0 indication that there is real weapons in the image, 0 indication that the man lacks the proper licenses for owning such items, and 0 indication that they are even unedited images followed by getting a warrant for actual physical search after identifying the individual and seeing if he has said documentation
im not saying anything about what should or shouldnt be done. Im telling you how a bureaucracy works. If there isnt any evidence at all of anything illegal going on
(pictures that could be possibly real of what could possibly be a military grade item that could possibly be illegally owned is no where near evidence at all without actual functional proof for said pictures to back up)
the FBI isnt going to waste time and resources trying to get a warrant for search and seizure over 2 pictures on the internet that have absolutely no functional evidence without the "possibly" illegal items themselves.
(a good side note here is that its entirely possible that he has a license for said items. There are businesses where you can pay to fire a tank for god sake)
The chances of that warrant getting granted over such little evidence is very low and unless something substantial was to be discovered in the public space they wouldn't wasting time on a warrant they know they arent going to get given
you're right, so if i see something suspicious, i shouldn't say anything as it's just my perception of an event that could be quite deadly. so leave them be to there behaviour and let the carnage begin
there is absolutely no difference between these pictures and a picture of someone holding what looks to be the 5 inches in the middle of a short barreled rifle and then the like 2 feet in the middle of a short barreled shotgun. Both require licenses a million fucking hoops to jump through to get ahold of legally and pictures of someone holding both are equally as worthless as evidence of any crime happening to obtain the restricted object. Report it all you want. Just dont think anything will happen because of you reporting it as literally nothing will.
also making a straw-man argument might be a good way to make yourself feel good about your point but it has no actual value in a conversation.

Well AT4s only fire 1 shot and can't be reloaded so I imagine you could get one pretty cheap, comparatively speaking.
it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt or worse. If something happened, and i came forward and said, "yeah, i knew he was up to something, but i just kept quiet about it. wanted to see what would happen" That make it ok?
reporting property thief to the FBI isnt the correct move at all. That's not their jurisdiction. If you are going to report a theft you report it to your local police the FBI legally can do nothing about theft of a phone that's in the jurisdiction of your police force.

Not only are you still putting words in my mouth (really good at the strawman thing huh)
but you are also completely avoiding the fact you were called out on it and continuing to do it. No one said anything about a license to steal. Great job continuing to make up arguments to fight against to make yourself look smart.

you can get a license to own those weapons. You can get a license to let other people use said weapons in a gunrange-esque business.

there is nothing more suspicious about pictures on the internet of a guy holding what might be a couple of rocket launchers than pictures of a guy holding what might be a short barreled ar-15. Both require a million fucking hoops and both are equally illegal if ignored
wouldn't report the stolen phone to the fbi, the photos, whether real or not it would be up to them to investigate. like someone buy 100kg of fertiliser and living in an apartment.
as i said before, thats no different than reporting to the fbi a picture of someone holding a gun. You wouldnt report someone for holding an ar-15 in a picture. This is literally no different.

seems your stance is, see something, say nothing
