Probably speculation. I understand that in times of adrenaline, the human body can be pushed to accomplish great feats, but this was probably a man that didn’t need adrenaline out of lack of fear (assumption). So, I don’t think he would be able to lift 2800 lbs. to his chest regularly. The current weightlifting records don’t come close to this. I’m calling tall tales that grew taller over the years.
