Don't ignore a guy just because he doesn't have money.
I met my husband when he didn't have but a paper route and the 200 a month he got went straight to his mom for rent. He kept none.
I married him while he still had no real paying job. We moved to my parents after our wedding. He couldn't find work so he helped my parents around the house every day cleaning and repairing things. Even did odd jobs for my aunts and uncles to get money for dates. It was a small town jobs were hard to find but he never stopped looking that whole time. We found out I was pregnant with our daughter and he went to ever job he could and didn't leave the store till he talked to the manager. In one week he got a job. In 2 weeks we moved out of my parents house. He now holds a good job and I stay at home. I do substitute once in a while but only because I like to do it. Any money I earn from it we use as spending money.
He turned into a good man/husband/father. Trust me a good man doesn't have to have money.
And unless you yourself have the same amount of "financial security" as the man you want than you are a fool for expecting the man to just have a stack of cash waiting for some woman to come along and spend it for him.
Marriage is about joining 2 lifes together to make one. It is not a leech attaching to a big fish living off the big fish and bringing nothing to the big fish but the loss of blood.
Not dating someone because they refuse to hold up their end of financial responsibilities is one thing (and wise). Not dating someone because they refuse to pay all YOUR bills and serve as your own personal ATM means you are basically garbage.
