People act like Infinity War was the first blockbuster to have a cliffhanger ending. "Empire Strikes Back" had just as massive a cliffhanger ending, and people had to wait *three* years to get the ending to that one.

I think it would be pretty obvious even to a child that those deaths are in no way permanent.
