I don't understand why everyone says this season sucks, yet nobody will state why. I'm so confused Lol

Anti climaxes all around. For one, Cersei, the most hated character on the show, dies when the Red Keep caves in, and not spectacularly at the hands of Tyrion, Arya, Deanerys, or any other character we were hoping to literally slay the Hate Queen.

It's rushed. It may come as a big shock to a lot of people, but Game of Thrones is a slow show. They spend a lot of time walking and talking, with one or two episodes a season dedicated to battle. The last two seasons has basically been the writers going "oh shit, we have to figure out how to end this now" and having no idea what to do.

I'm starting to think George R R Martin has no idea how to finish his sprawling fantasy series. That's why he wont publish the last two books.
