Are you telling me Germans discovered tigers first? Like back before the discovery of tigers if they saw a cat they'd be like "hey Schmidt what's that over there?" "Oh hmm I can't say Clouse." "Hmmmm I bet it would like to live in my living room." "Oi Clouse you are so funny come let us eat Weinersnitchel."

Living room can also be translated with Stube. It's more common in Northern Germany, but as Northern German is considered as the "correct" German, it's well known everywhere.
