Don't make this a Trump thing. The reason these laws are coming into place is because abortion extremists have increasingly been pushing for straight up infanticide.

This ain't Trump. It's differing moral convictions and federal overreach.

More restrictive laws would seem more unreasonable if 1) people weren't using abortion as birth control and 2) there weren't people arguing for 3rd and "4th term" abortion, which is actual infanticide. Problem 1 could easily be solved with better sex education and access to resources, but the second is absolutely immoral and disgusting to anyone with a fraction of a soul

You are skewing. First off, most abortions come from a need, it’s not a “hey, I think abortion is cool and I’m going to get one every week” sort of thing. Ask any girl that is open to abortion their reasons for potentially getting one; I bet you 99% will not tell you it’s for “birth control.” Plus, that’s a damn expensive form of birth control. Second, 4th-term abortion is not heavily pushed for. You are talking about a small portion of extremists. OR the mother’s/both her and baby’s lives are at risk, and termination is the only solution to save the mother. If you think we need more restrictive laws because of small groups of people’s reasonings, then your sense of justice, I think, is off-kilter. It’s the same logic as a teacher punishing the whole class for one kid’s outrageous behavior. That sort of “black and white” mentality has never served any country well.

What a well-constructed, intelligent rebuttal. “Wrong”...with a downvote...wow, you’re absolutely right and have opened my eyes.

Puma I saw people on the pro-choice side saying, in the context of the Alabama laws, that once Trump got into office that’s they started stocking up on long-term birth control.... they were using abortion as a substitute for birth control. What igotzapped is saying is not wrong

Yes, but the numbers do not support a need for stricter laws. Igotzapped isn’t wrong in a minority of people setting, but is that how we should dictate what others can and can’t do? Both of the reasonings behind the groups he mentioned are definitely not in the majority. Just because you see something online, that does not mean those numbers are high. Not to mention, people are paid to run fake rallies and to have extreme views just so the “other side” gets less support. You failed to see anything I was saying initially...maybe read this and then reread my original comment.
