That's not fair for a victim of leaked nudes to lose their job

Depends on the job. If you’re in customer service at a hardware store, sure, that’s not fair. If you are a judge and get to decide the course of people’s lives then you are held to a higher standard that includes your personal life. She took nude photos and (most likely) sent them to someone. That shows a lack of.. good judgment. (Ba dum tissss)

Unless she sent them to her husband or something and one of their phones was stolen or hacked. If someone breaks in my jeep, hot wires it, and then runs over another person using it--am I liable because I didnt do more than just lock my car? We need more info on what actually happened.

Also, this is Russia. What's fair got to do with anything?

@scatmandingo oh my god are you really saying that sending one’s nudes to someone and than having them leaked is something a judge should lose their job over?? It literally has no bearing on how they do their job and has nothing to do with their professional career. The higher standard judges should be held to is being impartial and just, not what they like to do in their bedroom in front of a mirror

@9greenlizards Yes, I am saying that a judge, like any other political appointee, has a blurred line between their professional and personal life when it comes to conduct. It is a privilege to hold a position like that, they are responsible to live up to that privilege whether or not they happen to be wearing their robes at the time. Taking, storing, and transmitting nude pictures is not inherently wrong but does risk reputation damage. She knew that when she took them or allowed them to be taken. If they were taking against her will I doubt she would lose her position.

I'm saying that the corruption in Russia is off the charts, and something that would be a bizarre conspiracy theory anywhere else is just likely there. Like some powerful person she ruled against engineered this whole thing to get rid of her.
