No visible muscle mass.
Front claws are short, rear ones are cause for concern.

Clearly relies on light based visual stimuli.
Exposing your back to it was a mistake, as it's scuttling speed likely outpaces your sprinting, and it's definitely more agile with leaping potentially being a concern as well.
The woman had the presence of mind to play along without panicking, but she appears physically frail, and her dress is a tactical hindrance. Unless she has a weapon or some hardcore training, I'm not sure she can win that fight or escape.
Nice analysis. But I don't think you're taking into account that it's probably a supernatural beast and may or may not fall under the known laws of the world. Like O'hare said, "I'm your worst nightmare! I'm frankensteins head, on spider's body!"
I am thinking under the assumption that they follow the same rules as all other known life. They are intelligent and inherently unsettling, so perhaps they have cultivated the image of being being otherworldly for survival's sake.
Maybe they were artificially created, in which case biological limits still apply.
If they are supernatural, maybe I get lucky? If not, still better than lying down and dying like a bitch.
